The Role

We are hiring a Head of Revenue / Sales to take full ownership of revenue execution.

This is a hands-on, revenue-carrying role. You will personally lead deals while helping to build the structure that makes revenue predictable and aligned with delivery capacity.

This position reports to the COO.

You will be accountable for closed revenue, forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and margin discipline.

Activity alone does not define success here. Outcomes do.


Core Responsibilities

Revenue Execution

  • Lead discovery conversations with qualified prospects

  • Scope work in alignment with delivery capabilities

  • Advance proposals through negotiation and close

  • Maintain pricing discipline and protect margin

  • Ensure clean transition from sales to delivery

Pipeline & Forecasting

  • Maintain a qualified pipeline that supports quarterly targets

  • Forecast revenue with realistic close probabilities

  • Surface risk early if pacing falls behind

  • Keep CRM data current and accurate

Sales Process & Systems

  • Define and document a repeatable sales process

  • Standardize discovery and proposal development

  • Establish clear stage definitions and exit criteria

  • Work closely with Operations to ensure commitments are realistic

Team Development (As We Scale)

  • Recruit and onboard future sales team members

  • Coach performance standards

  • Hold accountability for execution


What This Role Does Not Own

  • Marketing strategy

  • Brand positioning

  • Client delivery

  • Compensation plan design

  • Enterprise strategy

This role exists to close revenue and build the system that supports it.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience

  • Experience selling consulting, advisory, or complex services

  • Demonstrated revenue responsibility of $1.5M+ annually

  • Strong forecasting discipline

  • Comfort holding pricing boundaries

  • Clear communication style

  • Willingness to be measured on results

This is not a relationship-only role. It requires operational rigor and financial awareness.

Compensation

Base Salary:

$130,000 – $155,000

Commission Opportunity: Performance-based under formal Revenue Incentive Plan

Total Target Compensation:

$250,000 – $300,000

Base salary is guaranteed. Variable compensation is earned.
