Ava Carter is a multidisciplinary design and marketing consultant with more than 20 years of experience. Passionate about human connection and authentic conversation, she excels in creatively solving design challenges across various disciplines, including print media, packaging, wayfinding, digital graphics, multi-page layout, and branding and identity design.

Ava’s most recent career highlights include leading the marketing team at The Springs Resort, where she developed a new brand identity and managed a content library of over 11,000 assets. At Visit Pagosa Springs, Ava completed a stalled website redesign project in eight months and led the creation of a visitor mobile app. Her roles have consistently involved building strategic marketing initiatives, managing content, and ensuring brand consistency.

Ava blends creativity with strong technical skills in brand management, campaign management, CRM, SEO, and CMS. She is proficient in photography, video editing, and graphic design, allowing her to create compelling visual stories and connect with audiences across many platforms.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ava is a devoted mother to three boys and a rescue dog named Bear. Living in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, she enjoys hiking local trails, experimenting with new recipes, and participating in book clubs. Ava is actively involved in the community and enjoys working part-time as the Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce Special Events Coordinator with the goal of creating enjoyable community events that also benefit local businesses.
